The top table is of two piece medium vertical grain spruce
The back table is two piece modified slab cut Poplar with the Tarantino traditional decorative inlayed purfling below the neck-block button. Ribs are of matching character Poplar to that of the back table.
The neck and scroll are original of slight figured Poplar. Gears are aged Baker style gears. Varnish is a light brownish amber color. This Bass has such great power , depth and projection of sound for a slightly smaller 3/4 sized instrument
