  • Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is four-piece slab-cut maple
  • Ribs of flamed maple with ebony inserts at the neck block
  • Scroll and neck are original of flamed maple
  • Individual brass inlaid tuners
  • Varnish is deep reddish amber
  • This instrument is set up for the modern school of steel string playing with a tension-compensating raised saddle and a Kolstein adjustable bridge
  • Fully restored to excellent condition by Samuel Kolstein & Son, Ltd. in 1987 and so labeled
  • Overall body length: 41 3/4 in. (106 cm.)
  • Width at the upper bout: 19 1/2 in. (49.5 cm.)
